COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - High school and college students connected with area business leaders Thursday during the 35th annual Cufflinks and Pearls networking event, part of the activities surrounding this weekend’s Fountain City Classic.

The event featured a panel discussion focused on career skills for students from Albany State University and Fort Valley State University, as well as local high schools. The networking event has become a tradition during Fountain City Classic week, which culminates with the football game between the two universities.
