EUGENE, Ore. - Lane County is taking action to support residents affected by recent immigration enforcement.
According to Lane County officials, $200,000 from emergency reserves will be allocated to enhance food access and assist with basic needs. County officials emphasized the importance of community connection and living without fear of disruption.
"We are working to keep families housed and fed so they can navigate this challenging time in safety and with dignity," said Lane County Administrator Steve Mokrohisky.
