More than 70 arrests were made and nearly 10 lbs. were seized in just over a week in San Francisco, according to the police department on Friday.

Police said these arrests come as the department intensifies operations to combat drug-related activity in the city’s Tenderloin, South of Market and Mission neighborhoods.

According to the police department, officers have been increasing operations like buy busts and fugitive enforcement efforts in areas of the city most affected by drug-related activity.
