Kansas families receiving food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will see their full November benefits available today, according to the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF).

As of Nov. 7, DCF began issuing full November benefits to all Kansas SNAP recipients. The funds are being loaded onto recipients’ Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, also known as Kansas Benefits Cards. Officials said all recipients should have access to their full benefits by the end of the day.

The total November distribution amounts to more than $31.6 million in assistance for approximately 86,000 Kansas households.
