HARPER, Kan. (KAKE) - During this uncertain time, some local businesses and restaurants have stepped up in place of the federal government to provide some relief for SNAP recipients who’ve been unsure if they’d get their benefits.

One family-owned restaurant in Harper, Kansas, is providing free food to anyone who shows their SNAP benefit card.
