LOGAN — Law enforcement have arrested a 43-year-old Logan man and 39-year-old Preston, Idaho woman for allegedly assaulting a family member, leaving him with severe injuries. Kelly G. Olson and Shannon Leigh Karpowich were booked Thursday into the Cache County Jail.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Logan City Police officers were called to the incident address and met with a 46-year-old man, the alleged victim. He claimed how he had gotten into an argument with his sister, who was playing music loudly in the home’s garage.

The man claimed that when he asked Karpowich to turn down the music, she allegedly punched him in the face. Olson and another unidentified female then reportedly held him down as Shannon continued punching him in the face and groin. As he got back to his fe
