TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Alabama athletic officials are reminding fans of potential fake tickets for the Tide’s LSU game Saturday and for the rest of the season.
The university says counterfeit tickets that are sold on the internet and by people around the campus and on game day can lead to some fans being defrauded.
Officials say the lone authorized primary outlet for Alabama football tickets is through the UA Athletic Ticket Office and through SeatGeek, the university’s authorized secondary marketplace. If you do purchase tickets from other sources, the university says you are doing so at your own risk.
Alabama says if anyone purchases a stolen or counterfeit ticket may denied at the gate and could be subject to an investigation. The university also says that if anyone is caught
