BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – Deputies were active in Benton County today, apprehending a suspect and aiding a man in need.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) reported that deputies caught 43-year-old Robert Ezell, who had outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.
According to BCSO, Ezell was seen leaving a residence near 10th and Gum Street in a white Chevy S10 pickup. With the help of the Pro-Act Team, he was taken into custody without incident.
Later, deputies encountered a man walking along Oak Street toward Finley. During their conversation, they learned he was without funds and trying to reunite with his family in The Dalles, Oregon.
Thanks to the Benton County Sheriff’s Foundation, the man received a bus ticket home. Deputies transported him to the Greyhound station in Pasco,
