KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City father who broke his daughter’s ex-boyfriend’s eye socket in an attack was sentenced to serve 5 years’ probation.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Nov. 7, indicate that Salvatore J. Abbott, 52, avoided prison time after he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault.
The attack happened in November 2024 at The Cigar Box on Grand Blvd. Police say he and five others attacked the victim over a dispute between the victim’s new girlfriend and Abbott’s daughter.
The victim’s brother rushed him to North Kansas City Hospital , where a CT scan revealed that he sustained a fractured orbital bone.
