TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
The University of Alabama is set to open the School of Leadership and Policy in fall 2027, following approval from the Board of Trustees, offering new pathways for students in civic life and government.
The school will be housed in Farrah Hall, located off the quad, a location chosen intentionally to emphasize leadership's central role at the university.
University President Peter Mohler said, "Right at the heart of campus. It's literally right at the corner of the quad, that's done for many reasons. One, this is a building that has a profound history, both for the University of Alabama and the state of Alabama, as well as setting the clear message that leadership is at the heart of our campus. There is going to be no discipline that's not impacted by leadership needs
