CHEYENNE — Friday afternoon, CHISPA (Cheyenne Hispanics Improving Strengthening Powerful Alliance) not only became a member of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, the organization and its leader were awarded the new Community Connections Award by Better Together Laramie County.
CHISPA is a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting, educating and celebrating the Hispanic culture through community involvement and events. Its mission is to empower and advance the Hispanic community, support Hispanic families and strengthen Latino and Latina youth while creating opportunities for the community to achieve their fullest potential.
To achieve these goals, they offer events, educational programs, scholarships and fundraising efforts. Collaborating with the Chamber of Commerce will help CHISPA
