An unexpected scene of chaos unfolded in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district when a woman allegedly attacked an elderly man in front of a government office. She reportedly poured oil on him and even attempted to put a garland of shoes around his neck. The situation immediately drew attention from the crowd, and eventually police arrived to intervene.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the man, identified as Deshbandu from Banda village located in Rakkar tehsil, had come to the subdivisional office in Dehra for a court hearing related to a case. The woman, identified as Asha Devi from Dobha village in Mandi district, confronted him unexpectedly, which led to a violent altercation witnessed by several people present.
