Syracuse, N.Y. — After the last time Syracuse faced Albany, head coach Felisha Legette-Jack delivered an emphatic postgame message. She ripped into her team and the fan base following a heartbreaking upset loss .

In the Orange’s first matchup against the Great Danes since then, Legette-Jack’s team gave her no reason to give an encore.

Syracuse blew out Albany, 64-45 on Friday night in the JMA Wireless Dome to keep it undefeated two games into the 2025-26 season.

While surrendering its fewest points since Lafayette scored 41 on Nov. 7, 2023, the Orange commanded a double-digit lead throughout the contest, cruising to a blowout win.

Throughout the game, Syracuse forced 27 turnovers while holding the Great Danes to shoot 16-of-39 from the field.
