SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The work week wrapped up with very warm and humid conditions in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.

The weekend looks to be just as warm and humid. However, we add the chance for a few showers and storms before a strong cold front.

Saturday will start out with a few isolated showers and very mild morning temperatures. Lows will bottom out in just the upper 50s to lower 60s.

The afternoon will again warm into the upper 70s and lower 80s. There is a chance for a few more showers during the later afternoon and into the early evening.

Sunday will be the last very warm and humid day this week. Morning lows will be in the 60s, on par with what we typically have in late spring and very early fall.

Cloud cover will increase throughout the day ahead of the next cold front
