IHSAA football: Decatur Central beats Lawrence Central 17

INDIANAPOLIS -- Games are won by capitalizing on the mistakes of your opponent and Decatur Central did just that Friday night. The Hawks beat Lawrence Central, 17-14, to advance to a 6A Regional matchup against Brownsburg on Nov. 14.

“It was a heck of a battle,” Decatur Central Coach Kyle Enright said. “Great football game from two very tough teams with a lot of great football players and athletes on the field.”
