LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Workers will close some roads in Meridian Township starting Monday to repair water infrastructure, according to Ingham County Drain Commissioner Patrick Lindemann.

Closures will impact traffic near the work zone, which is located in the area of Mt. Hope Road and Comanche Drive, the latter of which will be closed whole work is being done.

To reach the subdivision near the worksite, residents are advised to use Copperhill Drive instead of Comanche Drive. Eastbound traffic on Mt. Hope Road will be shifted into the turn lane.

Workers will be reconstructing failed storm pipes and manholes, and to safely do so, the drain commissioner says the road will need to be closed.

The closure is expected to run from Monday, Nov. 10, through Friday, Nov. 14.
