Official sources said that the bird collided with the front windshield of the train, causing minor injuries to the loco pilot identified as Vishal. The injured pilot was given first aid at Anantnag Railway Station and is stated to be out of danger.
Railway officials halted the train at Anantnag Station immediately after the collision to ensure passenger safety and to conduct a detailed inspection of the locomotive before allowing further movement.
