BEMIDJI — On the surface, the Bemidji State men’s hockey team’s power play is nothing special.

Last Saturday against Bowling Green, the Beavers scored twice on the power play in the third period to snap a 0 for 18 skid, culminating in a 3-2 overtime win and a four-point weekend against the Falcons.
BSU picked up where it left off on Friday night at the Sanford Center. After a goalless first period, Bemidji State scored twice on the man-advantage in the middle frame en route to a 4-1 win, staying unbeaten in five CCHA games.
