ALTOONA, Pa. — Four players reached double figures Friday night as the Christopher Newport University men’s basketball team opened the season with an 86-67 victory at Penn State Altoona. Junior Toa Hollenbeck came off the bench to lead the way with 13 points, as the Captains opened their 58th season of action at Adler Arena.
Hollenbeck was joined in double digits by senior Collin Hines , junior Tyson Henderson , and freshman Tyler Sprague , who each contributed 11 points. Hines, the only senior on the CNU roster, also pulled down nine rebounds and logged four assists while Henderson also dished out four assists.
