Hillcrest football on to second round with 35-14 win against Riverside

SIMPSONVILLE – Two minutes before the half was more than enough time for Hillcrest to go on a scoring drive for a go-ahead touchdown.

Two touchdowns, in fact.

Hillcrest scored twice in the last 1:57 of the first half Nov. 7 and beat Riverside, 35-14, at Chandler Stadium in the opening round of the SCHSL Class AAAAA Division 2 high school football playoffs.
