Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday assured that the truth behind the Pune land deal involving the son of his colleague, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, will come out soon.
Furthermore, the Maharashtra government has ordered an investigation into the matter, with a report expected within a month.
“The Maharashtra CM has ordered an investigation into this matter, and we will receive its report in a month, and the truth will come out,” Shinde told ANI in Patna, who is campaigning for NDA in the Bihar elections.
The controversy surrounds the sale of 40 acres of government-owned land in Pune’s Mundhwa area to Amadea Enterprises LLP, a firm linked to Parth Pawar, the son of Ajit Pawar. The deal has been criticised for allegedly undervaluing the land and evading stamp duty.
