FARGO — Kolten Tesch has had a lot of big games for the Fargo Davies football team this season. Friday may have been his biggest yet.
The Eagles senior contributed in all facets, finishing with three touchdowns, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal to lead Davies to a 51-29 home win over Bismarck in the North Dakota Division 3A football state semifinals.
Tesch finished with a game-high 238 yards on 21 carries as East No. 1 seed Davies improved to 10-1 and advanced to Dakota Bowl for the second straight season.
The Eagles will take on West No. 1 Bismarck Century (9-2) in the 3A state championship game on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6:40 p.m. inside the Fargodome.
