SAXONY, Mo. (KFVS) - Within one quarter, Hayti had a 22-0 lead over Saxony Lutheran. And from there, the Indians didn’t let up, scoring four more touchdowns to secure a 50-21 win over the host Crusaders.

Friday’s game was a first for Saxony Lutheran, the first football playoff game in school history, and their first time hosting one. But 4-5 Hayti entered the game as a team much better than their record suggests, and the Indians put on a display of offensive dominance.

On the Indians’ second drive, junior J.C. Ford tossed a ball to J’Vonta Payne. The senior receiver sped past Crusaders defenders for the first score of the game.
