UMATILLA, Ore. – Umatilla is set to get a new police station following the recent election. Voters narrowly approved a $19.8 million bond measure to construct a modern police facility to meet the city's growing needs.
Currently, the Umatilla Police Department operates out of a 40-year-old triple-wide trailer that was once a city administration building
Officer Katie Skillman highlighted the challenges and tight working conditions.
