FARGO, N.D. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs had no trouble pulling away and winning their first game of the season, rounding up the North Dakota State Bison, 81-66.
Allie Turner highlighted the first-ever meeting between the programs, her 18 points on 4-5 three-point shooting dazzled the Scheels Center crowd, she helped the Zags shoot a remarkable 8-12 from deep.
Gonzaga outrebounded NDSU and clamped them to just 19 points over the second and third quarters combined.
The Bulldogs' next game is at the Toledo Rockets this Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
