Police seize knife after stopping 'suspicious' driver

Police have seized a knife while on patrol tackling late night thieves in Warwickshire . Officers were on operation across Leamington when they encountered a suspicious driver.

The individual was parking and leaving his car with a torch. Officers acted utilising stop and search powers, resulting in a knife being found.

A spokesman for Leamington Police said: "Over the past few nights, officers from the Leamington North Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have been conducting proactive overnight operations across Milverton and Lillington to target burglary and vehicle crime.
