MORGANTOWN -- Two of the prominent personalities in college football will clash Saturday afternoon at noon in Morgantown.
The Colorado Buffaloes, led by former two-time All-American Deion Sanders, will face coach Rich Rodriguez and the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Both teams have had less-than-memorable seasons, each entering with a 3-6 record and a 1-5 mark in Big 12 play.
Both sides respect each other, though.
"Coach Rodriguez is a coaching legend," Sanders said. "I respect the heck out of him, and he's got another chance in the coaching realm. He's back, and he's coaching with a vengeance. Big East, Pac-12, Conference USA and NAIA Coach of the Year. He is a coaching legend to me. I love the passion, tenacity and mental toughness that he coaches with [and] aims to have [for] his team.
