George Washington gave its seniors a night to remember in their final regular-season home game.

The Class AAAA No. 5 Patriots scored four touchdowns in the first quarter on the way to a 42-0 win over No. 9 Woodrow Wilson on Friday at Steve Edwards Sr. Field and are all but assured of a first-round playoff game at home.

Jaden Black powered the GW attack with three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter as he rushed for 207 yards before halftime. Black was removed for the Patriots’ final possession of the second quarter.

Black carried 18 times, and his TD runs went for 40, 13 and 11 yards for a 28-0 lead after the first quarter. Quarterback Cy Persinger
