Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka have approved Rs 60,799 crore to advance road infrastructure building – the largest such push in the history of the state, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy said.
In a press conference on Saturday, the minister said that Rs 10,400 crore will be invested in the expansion of Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway, which will be expanded to a eight-lane highway, instead of a six-lane highway.
Another flagship project includes the construction of Regional Ring Road (RRR) at a cost of Rs 36,000 crore, a game changer project for the state, he said.
