PEORIA, Ill. – Carle Health Proctor and Carle Health Pekin hospitals will be holding no-cost lung cancer screenings on Saturday (November 8).

Thanks to support from Carle Health Center for Philanthropy , the no-cost screenings will be possible. Visitors can stop by from 8 a.m. to noon at Carle Health Proctor Hospital, 5409 N. Knoxville Avenue, in Peoria or Carle Health Pekin Hospital, 600 S. 13th Street, Pekin.

Carle Health representatives will evaluate the need by asking visitors about lifestyle risk factors, including smoking history, to determine if they qualify for the low-dose CT scan.
