Motorists are facing queues after an accident in Topsham this morning.

According to traffic and travel website Inrix the incident has resulted in Bridge Hill being closed in both directions as of 10.47am.

The site states that this has resulted in "slow traffic" due to the accident at Elm Grove Road.

As a consequence there is traffic building up along Exmouth Road and through to the Clyst St George roundabout, including Woodbury Road.

An update at 11.45am has suggested there is increasing traffic jams through Topsham's High Street, which links to the railway station.
