Justin O’Shea of Broomall, a junior at Cardinal O’Hara High School, has again launched a food drive, collecting cereals, pastas, canned goods, soups, mac and cheese and more.
Before his first effort last year, the youth saw a need to combat hunger right in his own neighborhood after witnessing families struggle. He had hundreds of donors last year and this year he has recruited an entire team, a big team, including the Lion Ambassadors.
“Over the summer and fall, I’ve been working hard collecting donations, and my goal is to make this year’s food drive even bigger.” Justin said. “This year, I’ve been blessed to be chosen as a Student Giving Ambassador at my school, and I am using this platform to really grow the food drive.
