A huge fire raged at an apartment complex in Amherst, Massachusetts, on Friday night, and firefighters from around the region came to help put out the flames.

The fire appeared to be centered on the Olympia Place apartment complex and apparently spread from one building to another by late Friday night.

The Amherst Fire Department had yet to release a statement on the blaze as of Saturday morning. It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was hurt or what caused the fire.

Video from the scene showed heavy flames.

Fire departments from around the area were called in to help battle the flames.
