The Orange's defense was locked in during the first half, holding the Great Danes to just 10 points at the break. This is the least amount of points Syracuse had allowed in a first half since Coppin scored seven points in the first half against the Orange in 2016.
Uche Izoje led the way with 14 points followed by Dominique Darius with 13 and Angelica Velez with 10 points. UAlbany finished with 15 turnovers with the Orange scoring 27 points off of turnovers. Syracuse shot just over 42% from the field but only made two three-pointers on the night. Next up, the Orange take on Canisius at home on November 11th at 7 p.m.
