The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 8:21 a.m. on Saturday for dense fog until 10 a.m. for Carbon and Monroe counties.
"Patchy dense fog has developed this morning and has reduced visibility to a quarter mile or less in some locations. If traveling, be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. The fog is expected to dissipate by late morning," describes the weather service.
