The drivers of two vehicles have died with a third person seriously injured after a head-on collision on Interstate 70 in Washington County on Friday, according to Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene around 5 p.m. and determined that an eastbound Hyundai sedan crossed the median and collided with a westbound Ford SUV. Both drivers were declared dead at the scene, while a passenger in the SUV was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. A boy also riding in the SUV was unharmed, per KDKA.
The driver who crossed the median was identified by the Washington County Coroner as 59-year-old Donna Havens of Wheeling, W. Va. and the driver of the SUV as 69-year-old William Magers of Glen Dale, W. Va.
