A man was found dead following a Brighton Heights fire that broke out early Saturday morning, according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety official.
One deceased adult male was located by firefighters on the second floor of a residence in the 3700 block of Parviss Street in Brighton Heights. Officials believe the fire began before 5 a.m.
No cause had yet been determined as of 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Investigators had “only recently” gotten access to the structure to begin their investigation, according to the official.
