Jason Isbell could add three Grammy Awards to his trophy case in 2026, all linked to his solo acoustic album, “Foxes in the Snow.”
The Alabama native, already a six-time Grammy winner , was among the nominees announced on Friday for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, earning three nods in American roots and folk categories.
Isbell, 46, is up for Best Folk Album for “Foxes in the Snow,” a collection of songs released in March 2025 on his Southeastern Records. “Crimson and Clay,” an Alabama-centric track from the album, is nominated for Best American Roots Performance. The album’s title track, a love song, is in the running for Best American Roots Song, a songwriter’s award.
