Alabama’s season-opening loss to Florida State seems like ages ago — to everyone except Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson, its seems.
Alabama turned back LSU 20-9 at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night, its eight consecutive win since that 31-17 defeat to the Seminoles on Aug. 30. In his post-game comments to ABC’s Molly McGrath, Simpson implied that he believes the Crimson Tide was still being underestimated.
“I want our legacy to be that everybody doubted us at first,” Simpson said. “You know how we came out with the first game. But that’s just part of it, right? It’s Alabama against the world.
