The weekend has started off on a beautiful note across the Mid-Atlantic. A pleasant Saturday morning gave way to a beautiful afternoon. Temperatures are slowly cool back into the 50s this evening, as clouds increase across central Maryland.
The forecast remains dry until early Sunday morning.
Scattered wet weather moves through on Sunday
Sunday will not be a total washout , but rounds of scattered rain are in the forecast.
The first round of scattered showers arrives Sunday morning; starting as early as 4 a.m. The chance of rain in the morning is greatest across the eastern shore.
Events like the Bay Bridge Run and Maryland Irish Festival could be impacted by hit-or-miss type showers. Though, there will be dry time, too.
Temperatures peak in the mid and upper 60s in most communities
