CIRCLEVILLE — A traffic stop on Dunmore Road led to the arrest of a local man on multiple drug charges on October 31, 2025.
According to Circleville Police, officers observed a 2010 black Ford Fusion with expired tags make a nearly collision-causing turn at the intersection of Walnut and South Court streets. The vehicle was then followed as it turned onto Dunmore Road, where police initiated a traffic stop.
The driver, later identified as Gary Giffin Jr. , reportedly exited the vehicle and refused repeated commands to remain inside. Officers restrained Giffin after a brief struggle, noting that he admitted to having Percocet on his person .
A subsequent search confirmed that Giffin was in possession of 43 Vicodin and 20 Percocet pills , both classified as Schedule II substances. T
