Business people can attend a cybersecurity workshop on Nov. 13 in Watertown to learn how to avoid scams and cyber crime.
The "Spot the Scam" workshop, organized by the SD CEO East Women's Business Center at Black Hills State University and GROW South Dakota. is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Element, 1 N. Broadway. It also will be held virtually via Zoom webinar, according to a community announcement.
Olivia DeBoer, program director with GROW South Dakota, will provide insights on recognizing and preventing online scams that target small businesses and individuals. Participants will learn practical tips to enhance their cybersecurity awareness and strategies to protect sensitive information.
