PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Patchy morning fog will turn to a sun and cloud mix by Saturday afternoon along the Willamette Valley.
Decreasing clouds will help Portland area temperatures to warm into the low 60s Saturday. Portland's average daytime highs this time of year should be close 56-degrees in early November. Winds are expected to be from the east, becoming stronger and warmer by Sunday.
The Pacific Northwest has an opportunity to start cleaning up leaves while the weather remains dry and mild. Strong easterly winds Sunday will help Portland area temperatures warm into the low to mid 60s.
Sneaker waves continue to be a threat to beach goers this weekend. Despite the drier skies, unexpecting waves could move in along the Oregon Coast through early next week.
