A pastor who supported a gran while locked up in a notorious Indonesian jail has revealed her final days behind bars before she was released on humanitarian grounds. ‌

Lindsay Sandiford, 69, was sentenced to death by firing squad for smuggling drugs into Indonesia in 2012 and was locked up in Bali's notorious Kerobokan jail. ‌

Pastor Christine Buckingham supported Lindsay while behind bars and was seen hugging the gran in a warm embrace after her release. ‌

Speaking to our sister paper, the Mirror , Christine revealed the 69-year-old was in a frail condition and was suffering with health issues, after over a decade locked up.
