WILLIAMSBURG — The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas recently announced its participation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture-funded Child and Adult Care Food Program.
According to the YMCA, the program is dedicated to ensuring children and adults in our community have access to nutritious meals each day. Through the partnership, participating YMCA centers will provide healthy meals and snacks at no additional charge to enrolled participants.
The following YMCA locations are approved CACFP sites:
R.F. Wilkinson Family YMCA
Tom & Ann Hunnicutt Family YMCA
According to the YMCA, meals are available to all eligible children and adults regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Families with participants enrolled at these centers may qualify for free or reduced-p
