The man accused of abducting and repeatedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl at knifepoint in Bristow is now behind bars, police said.
Dominic Kuykendall, 53, who has no fixed address, was arrested late on Friday, Nov. 7, after being tracked down at an abandoned residence in Nokesville, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Kuykendall was wanted on two counts of rape and one count of abduction with intent to defile after allegedly preying on a young girl who voluntarily left the Youth for Tomorrow facility on Hazel Circle Drive on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Investigators said the victim was walking near Golf Academy Drive and Nokesville Road when she came upon Kuykendall, who was parked in his vehicle.
During the course of their encounter, the accused displayed a knife and forced the victim into the vehicle, police said. While inside the vehicle, Kuykendall allegedly sexually assaulted the teen on more than one occasion.
The girl eventually escaped and flagged down nearby bystanders who contacted police.
Officers received information the next day and found Kuykendall hiding inside the abandoned home, where he was taken into custody without incident, police said.
He is being held without bond, and a court date is pending.
