A 35-year-old man allegedly misbehaved and assaulted three doctors at Cooper hospital in the wee hours of Saturday after his mother died during treatment. The Juhu police have booked the person under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.

The accused is identified as Sameer Abdul Jabbar Shaikh, 35, who lives in SRA building at Sagar City area, Andheri (West).

According to the police, Shaikh’s mother, Saida, 57, was not well and was having difficulty in breathing. He brought her to the hospital around 12.10 am on Saturday and she was taken into casualty department.

Doctor Gaurav Anandgaonkar, 25, was on duty at Cooper hospital as a medical officer. He informed doctor Prashant Bhadke, and both started examining the patient and found that her BP was nonrecordable and carotid pulse wa
