A devastating tornado in Brazil's southern state of Parana has claimed the lives of six people and injured over 400, according to officials. The tornado, reaching speeds exceeding 155mph, demolished dozens of homes, leading the government to declare an emergency in the affected area.
State officials announced in a statement that at least one person was unaccounted for hours after the tornado made landfall. Five of those who lost their lives were adults, and the sixth was a 14 year old girl.
