Brooklyn — The Detroit Pistons are having their best start to a season since the 2008-09 campaign after a 125-107 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night . The victory extended Detroit's winning streak to five games and improved its overall record to 7-2.
Even after nine games this season, the Pistons appear poised for a dominant year, but their success hasn't deterred the front office from exploring ways to enhance their roster further. Before their first game in the Emirates NBA Cup at Barclays Center, the Pistons announced that they had been awarded forward/center Isaac Jones off waivers.
