UPDATE: TDOT crews are picking up the pieces after a rockslide on I-24 in Marion County.
Spokeswoman Rae Anne Bradley says their team has removed loose rock and built a berm to catch any additional rockfall.
"TDOT geotechnical engineers will reassess the area, and the right lane will stay closed until a safe reopening plan is in place," Bradley said in a social media post.
There is no estimated timeline for the project.
